Hey guys here are some pictures I took whilst in San Francisco. Julia and I randomly decided the night before that we were going and I booked a hotel through Expedia. I got great deal on The Palace Hotel in Union Square. It was built in the 1940s and recently restored. It was so beautiful and luxurious.
We were listening to some tropical club music like Younger, Show Me Love, Moving Too Fast. It took us about 5 and a half hours to get there from LA and we managed to fit a lot in.We went to the Fishermans wharf on a tram and had some fish and chips 🙂 something to remind me of home, whilst admiring the view of Alcatraz. We then went to the Russian Hill and ran back down it to Ghirardelli Square where we did a wine tasting and we were both drunk. Crooked Lane was so cool to drive down.
One of my favourite things we did was visiting Mrs Doubtfire’s house. It was strange being there after seeing it in the film and knowing Robin Williams is dead. People had written on the sidewalk and on pebbles outside the house. It brought back memories of me as a kid watching the film and wanting a complete family.
To finish the trip off properly we went to see the Golden Gate Bridge. It was really cool to be seeing everything for the first time and being in such iconic places. I can see why people fall in love with this city. I can’t wait to go back. On the way home we listened to Aerosmith and were screaming along with the windows down. Hope you guys enjoy the pics 🙂
